Dishes, not cuisine labels.
Core dishes and their prices are read from the menu itself, so a segment asks for the dish, not the cuisine.

Questions, answered.
Can I find the restaurants that serve a specific dish?
Core dishes and their alternatives are read from each menu, with the median price and price range. A segment can ask for the dish rather than a cuisine label, then roll the matching locations up to the operators who buy.
How are menu prices recorded?
As numbers read from the menu: median price, price range and the menu price curve. Our Little Caesars study compared online pizza prices across 50,000 US pizza locations: a large pizza at Little Caesars costs $11.0, 39% below the other top-5 chains and 51% below the US market. Online menu prices can differ from in-store prices.
Do you separate chains from independents?
Yes. Every location carries its status (independent, chain or franchise) and the group behind it. Chains are sold at the operator; independents through their distributor, which is why a broker needs both lists.
Why not a general B2B database?
A general database lists the restaurant company. It does not know what is on the menu, what a dish costs or which operator buys for which kitchens. CompanyProspect reads the menu, keeps prices as numbers and resolves every location to its operator and legal owner.
